Menu Mishaps

"'Twere the days after Christmas, and all through the house,
Not a person was stirring, in turkey's tryptophan soused..."

All done. Promise.

Amateur and embarrassing attempts at poetry aside, Christmas is past and yet the afterglow of the festive season lingers, bathing everything in a golden, happy haze. Or maybe that's just the hangover. Either way, the precious days after Christmas day are a perfect time to unashamedly commit gingerbreadman-cookie-cide slumped on the couch playing with new iToys.

For entertainment while rubbing your swollen bellies, here is an assortment - the equivalent of a Whitman's Sampler, if you will -  of menu malarky found at one favorite local Dongbei restaurant. The food is great - the translations are better. I mean, who doesn't like their shrimp to be "innovative"?

My (belated) gift to you.
